Radical hair makeovers happen for mostly two reasons; either you’re hair is too damaged for a trim to fix. Or secondly, something major occurs in your life. Maybe it’s a break up, or a new baby, perhaps just you trying to re-invent yourself. There are a few of us out there who are in the salon every 6-8 weeks to maintain their style (we love you thank you) but for those who come only a few times a year, here are some tips to know when it’s time to chop that mop.

  • Has the messy bun become an everyday look? Would not having a pony tail commence a full blown panic attack? Then it’s probably time for a haircut. If you’re trying to grow out your hair to mermaid lengths, Regular trims will keep it looking and feeling healthy.
  • The time it takes you to do your hair is perpetually expanding, It’s because your hair is lacking shape and structure. Trim up your layers, put some movement in that mop.
  • Split ends? IT’S TIME FOR A CUT. They won’t just go away, in-fact they will keep splitting up the strand of hair, Loose a couple inches, your hair will thank you.
  • Are your curls turning into dreadlocks? It’s because your hair is so heavy, get some texture and layer them accordingly to your curl pattern, I guarantee that you’ll be back to big bouncy hair in no time.
