What is the Keratin Smoothing Hair Treatment?

Results: It removes 100% of frizz and up to 90% of the curl or wave that will provide silky, smooth and light-weight hair.

THREE DAY FORMULA

This is a MOISTURIZING formula. It also contains cacao oil, which drenches dry strands in moisture. This Keratin Hair Treatment is great for clients with naturally resistant hair, so while it isn’t stronger in terms of formaldehyde content, it is EFFECTIVE at smoothing resistant hair. This Anti-Frizz Smoothing Treatment is excellent for extremely dry or damaged hair, or for those with thick, coarse and very curly hair looking to achieve a straighter look. Cacao oil’s smooth texture, enticing aroma, and emollient properties contain natural antioxidants that strengthen and smooth hair. Cacao Oil works to retain moisture and provides a breathable barrier to protect hair that is dry or over-processed against environmental stress and fading.

This is a UV protectant keratin treatment, color-treated formula. FAQ

CAN I HAVE A COLOR SERVICE THE SAME DAY AS A KERATIN TREATMENT?

If color is not performed the same day or before a keratin treatment you must wait two weeks to get a color service. We recommend doing your color first and then your Keratin Treatment, but if you forget or have roots that need to be covered then waiting two weeks after your treatment is perfectly fine.

It is extremely important to use sodium chloride free hair products after receiving a Keratin Treatment. Because Lasio Keratin Treatments are water-based, and not silicone based, which require sodium chloride free products not sulfate free. Salt and chlorine will strip the keratin from your hair. We highly recommend using HYPERSILK.

Swimming in chlorinated pool water and saltwater can shorten the life of the treatment, however, swimming in fresh water will not harm your keratin treatment. When swimming in the ocean or in chlorinated water, tuck your hair into a swimming cap to protect it and keep it dry.

A Keratin Treatment and Brazilian Blow out are both hair-smoothing treatments that temporarily coat the outer layer of the hair to smooth the hair, remove frizz, enhance shine and decrease blow-drying time.
Brazilian blow-outs also leave your natural texture (curl or wave) in with just removing frizz, while with the Keratin Hair Treatment you will get more of a smoothing and deep-conditioning effect.

Both, Keratin Treatment and Brazilin Blow-out do not make strands permanently stick straight and as your hair grows, you will not see the difference between root re-growth and ends, because the Keratin Treatment fades out naturally.
