TIME OUT NEW YORK

NEW STORES: THE DRAWING ROOM NY

(just an excerpt)

After sculpting tresses in Athens and London, creative director and owner Clyde Elezi struck out on his own to open this sleek, loftlike salon, where the haircuts for both genders ($90-$150) are as mod as the minimal decor (hub mirrors on the walls, cherry-red Italian chairs). Once you get shampooed with Redken and Pureology products, and succumb to a killer scalp massage – you’ll talk things out in a precut consultation with Elezi or stylist Adrienna Saczike before they set about creating architecturally minded cuts. If it’s color ($85-$250) you’re after, you’ll be in good, seasoned hands with Elezi’s brother, Alex, whose transformative makeover skills have been documented on Bravo’s Make Me a Supermodel. Dye jobs come with a complimentary ten-minute blow-out, though a full blowout costs $65 to $85. 148 Spring Street.
